I’m just smart assin’. Of course he loved NYC. What is not to love? The city is amazing. I finally got around to watching Woody Allen’s Whatever Works (the one starring Larry David). I love how Allen always portrays NYC as the place that outsiders come and find real culture. In Whatever Works, a Southern girl shows up in NYC and finds culture. Then her parents come and each finds his and her own path, completely different than anything either has ever known in life, and both owe their personal discoveries to the city. I was born in NYC, I lived there my first year, and even though I don’t remember it, I like to think it left its mark.
That is a fine New Yorker costume he is wearing.
