    Love these, although of course no photographs can do justice to the actual artwork. It’s one of the great achievements of the Western tradition.

    Dave is so right – the photos communicate about 5% of the experience. You have to go, so worth it.

    No lightning…though it’s a pretty amazing experience without. Of course I now want to go back again. Btw, the pictures are in chronological order from afternoon to sunset to sunrise.

    Apparently, Brangelina were there a few weeks earlier — not that great art needs celebrity endorsement, but I think I can now say I shared a bed with them.
