Melted Mailbox

After boosting me through the window to my locked apartment, Human Television guitarist Boyd Shropshire sat down and talked with me about psychedelic art, the Zombies, and pasta sauce. His latest project is called Melted Mailbox, a Psychedelic Vinyl Singles Club.

From the website: “Melted Mailbox is a collection of music that arrives in bi-monthly installments. The first series will consist of seven one-sided 12” records. The music-less side will be etched. Each record will be bright & thick.”

Looks like a great line-up of musicians and artists with contributions from Sunroof!, Dino Filipe, Ariel Pink, and more!

Mr. Shorpshire also has some great home recordings available through his website. Check out “Yes You Have” by Boyd, Aaron + Steve (plus Zach).

Hey! I’m trying to save money over here! How can you, in good conscience, dangle such fruits and delights in front of me?
