Okay, I don’t really know much about the Fred Perry brand. Here’s what I see in the photo:
The model is pale, English, pouty like he’s just been crying. Longish hair, but the polo shirt and the laurel wreath logo lend him a certain sportiness. You see very little of him, less than half, and his eyes are directed toward the logo. And the color — all blue, very soothing.
It looks expensive and highly coded, only for insiders.
this is the brand of shirt that all the skinheads used to wear in dc in the 80′s. it was a fred perry polo, some jeans with suspenders (but not over the shoulders, hanging down) doc martens, and a bomber jacket.
maybe a cap if you were an extra badass.
didn’t really associate this brand with anything but homophobic dudes with crew cuts from my teen years, but there you go. still kicking 25 years later (the shirts, not me!)
