The closing events of the first (annual?) Brooklyn Food Conference. A great pagan feast! (in a high school cafeteria.)
This was the place to be Saturday, people. 3000+ attendees, almost 100 exhibitors, 400+ volunteers, and a tremendous amount of energy.
Just wanted to add the url: http://brooklynfoodconference.org
Check out our press! Scroll down to the end of the page: http://brooklynfoodconference.org/press/
And just found two pieces in the NY Observer: http://www.observer.com/2009/media/fooderati-twitter-has-new-hostage-candy-day http://www.observer.com/2009/daily-transom/dan-barber-item
We will be holding neighborhood meetings to discuss forming a coalition to push for just and sustainable efforts/legislation, so there’s still time to join the party.
Pagan as in Pegan? At a school? Wow. Is it a special school? What was it for? Spring Equinox or Beltane?
big photos, sorry dave for jumping the bounds of the style guide here.
You only hurt yourself, Lane.
