    biscuit of the year!

some one is keeping track of all this right . . .?

    “the mini-biscuit” we might say.

Hey Scotty, is this where the partys at?

  3. Scottygee says:

Seriously, I’ve watched this about twenty times since last night, and it gets a little funnier each time.

Shucks! That’s what I should have done for my video! My video sucks! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Wrj75oezqU) They mutilated my last name: the old-fashioned Russian last name was probably hard to spell, so they just wrote “sucker,” in a nice way. I am a sucker! Check out the cool stuff other people are doing. I’d wear a suit and a belt in the wrong place and do:
    To the left
    To the right
    I saaaaay
    Do the dance
    Do the dance
Maybe, I should have acquired a pole for my dance…the Russian way…makes the business go around. Ha-ha! That’s great! Thanks for the biscuit!

As I watched this three times in a row, all I could think was, I can’t wait to see Scotty’s rendition of it.

The thing that I find most interesting about this video is the dearth of actual information one gets about this guy’s business. Maybe the address is legible for a few seconds near the beginning, when he gestures to the sign, but outside of that, one learns that he sells furniture and that his flea market is “just like a mini-mall.” The ad is two minutes long! There’s nothing about pricing, financing, brands carried, availability, layaway, etc.!

    Also, what Parrish said.

  7. brands carried, availability, layaway

My understanding of the term “flea market” suggests that these considerations are not applicable. (‘Course it also conflicts in certain ways with my understanding of the term “mini mall”.)

  8. I loved this, but I bet that it drives the locals who see this repeatedly on TV absolutely bonkers.

  9. Awesome cover of “Flea Market Montgomery” by Adult Alternative Contemporary Christian artist Shaun Groves: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-II8nPNnhk4
