While watching the Wrestler last night (and liking it much more than i thought i would) i recalled one of my favorite videos of last year which was for the song “jerk it” which plays in the background during one of the marisa tomei strip club scenes. Then while watching that tonight I thought of my very favorite video of last year by Flying Lotus “Parisian Goldfish” which was banned from youtube last summer. I meant to compile my favorites of 2008, but then realized that there just wasn’t a good enough crop of videos to justify a whole thursday post or your time–or my efforts. Now the biscuits section makes it so easy to link to cool things as i run across them. BTW, do not play this at work. Happy new year!
