I love it! A new Rachel mix is a highlight of the new year. Last year’s is still one of my favorite boogie-in-the-kitchen while you cook/wash/dishes mixes. So far The Black Ghosts’ track is the one I want to put on endless replay. Thanks for another fab mix.

So I’m letting you know, Rachel, that your mix is the first I’ve ever downloaded from Great Whatsit. I started listening to each track individually, and then I “unzipped” the folder and continued listening to them with the files actually downloaded to a normal folder.

I’d comment on them by now, but I seem to have messed up the order in which I was listening to them from the zipped folder. Give me another day and I’ll tell you what I think of the collection.

We saw the Dirtbombs last month (opening for TVOTR) and DAMN!! did they ever rock. Two drummers, for starters! Garage city with an ass shake!

Thanks from me too, RB — tho I’ve only heard one of these songs (track 6), only familiar with two of the artists (5, 6), only even heard of a couple of the other artists (8, 11, 15). But maybe I will listen to this tape! Maybe I will get with the times!
