Stella went to visit the rainy island that is her home.
It rained
and rained
and rained.
She went hiking in a beautiful place.
She climbed the hill
higher
and higher
and higher.
She climbed up to the clouds
and reached the top.
She walked down the other side
of the horseshoe of hills
and was back in time for tea.
lovely
What a perfect day! Did you visit Hogwarts?
I love that Britain has these wild-looking places that are still within walking distance of tea. (Although I did see the Highlands episode of that Man vs. Nature or whatever show where he has to skin a rotting deer just to survive the night.)
Also: Why are there no trees on those hills? Surely there’s enough rain.
I love stella stories.
Ahhhh… I remember rain! (A distant memory of childhood in Seattle… I’m entirely certain it’s never gonna rain here in LA ever again…) Lovely photos, Stella.
Excellent question, Dave. There are no trees because sheep having been grazing for hundreds of years on this land. They eat baby trees.
Jen — sadly Hogwarts was closed for the summer holiday.
Tea in the Sahara with you. Uh-I mean rainy island.
