Bryan,
I've always felt that for most people, tattoos are merely an accessory chosen at a whim, like a pair of earrings or a new shade of lipstick (hmmm... what's the hetero male equivalent? I suppose that's a whole 'nother post). It seems to me that tattoos should be very seriously considered before commitment. Not only did you take the time to consider this permanent addition to your mortal presence, but you chose an icon that obviously holds deep meaning for you, and has been (presumably) highly influential in your life, and isn't Jesus. Unlike some abstract squiggle or aboriginal design that has nothing to do with your own experience, this tattoo says volumes about who you are. Truly a well thought-out twinkle.
