Starting to fade from vicarious adventures last night. Double feature – part 1 at 9:00 pm, part 2 at 12:01 – special screening with posters and the above Harry shaped 3D glasses. The energy after these midnight forays keeps you going until about 4:00. Sometimes 6:00. But at some point you wonder if the spontaneity was worth it. But with all the nonsense in American popular culture right now – a little coming together over a movie is kind of nice to the tune of 43 mil in one night. Yet we cannot determine a budget. Sigh. I wear my t-shirt: Republicans support VOLDERMORT (when they are not maligning Obama).
My 17 yr old son called me today from visiting his auntie in Seattle. He confessed he cried the whole time. Not because of the plot, but because “his childhood is over.” He has been looking forward to a Harry Potter movie since he was 5 yrs old.
I can’t wait…somehow wasn’t organized enough to go this weekend but one friend went to the 2.45am showing because midnight was sold out. ah, harry. if you’re in it, you’re in it. can’t wait to enter that magic world one more time. I hear ralph fiennes deserves an oscar. accio movie ticket.

Saw this on Saturday night. So… awesome. Theatre erupted into applause at the end. I wish there were more, more, more installments to come…!
