Danny Fields (RAMONES), Leee Childers (HEARTBREAKERS) and I (JAYNE COUNTY & THE ELECTRIC CHAIRS) brought NY authenticity to London as the Brits were stealing our thunder in the Great Punk Rock Explosion of '76/'77. So, call me an egoist, but I think I deserve to take a bow before I bow out for the last time. I TRIED TO KEEP THE NY BOHO SCENE ALIVE ‘TIL THE END OF 1981
