The morning after

And you?

We had a very traditional meal and delicious, cooked by the hosts. I participated only in the peeling of the roasted chestnuts for the stuffing, which was kinda fun but maybe not worth the burned fingers.

My utterly rote preparation of this, found via googling “vegetarian stuffing” and clicking on a forum at dooce.com, won kudos all around the Thanksgiving table, not just where I was sitting. And this morning it was very good in a ramekin with some egg and cheese.
