    Okay, so my new favorite lampposts are the ones in the first Budapest photo. The resemblance to an articulated insect leg, the three lamps facing different directions, and the extra length of post at the top make them a perfect blend of the practical and the artistic, the natural and the artificial.

    Eastern Bloc stuff was pretty cool a lot of the time, just badly built and not maintained.
