Red Hook, Brooklyn

In the coming week, I will be celebrating my first year living in Red Hook, Brooklyn. It’s a great place, and I’ve had a lot of fun here. My favorite thing to do is watch the sunset on the various piers. I’ve never shared pictures on here before, so I thought I would post a few good shots I’ve gotten over the past year. Hope you enjoy. And if you ever decide to visit Brooklyn, please make Red Hook a priority. Click on the images to enlarge.

  1. I like those sunset pictures a lot; but the last one of the sun coming through the clouds is going to be my new desktop wallpaper.

  2. Actually just about any of the four landscape-orientation shots would make a good background. But the last one is my fave.

    Nice! Glad you like them.

One thing that’s so great about this pictures is, you’d never, ever guess they were taken in Brooklyn! All that wide-open space! Thanks for these; I’m spending the morning imagining myself on that quiet pier.

Well, except for that little statue over to the right.
